Description
Manufactured by the Scentellian Federation and driven by artificial intelligence (AI), D-36 Dragonfly drones are small service drones that aid in logistical services such as the transportation of small goods and objects like cutleries and utensils by spatially locking them between its arms, which can either be widened or narrowed, depending on the size of the object being carried.
In addition to transporting objects, D-36 Dragonfly drones are also capable of verbally interacting with people and obeying their commands and requests, given that they are AI driven. They are also capable of projecting 2D images (not holographic) on flat surfaces such as tables in restaurants, so as to allow customers to just simply order food by selecting desired options with their fingers.
Because of all these, D-36 Dragonfly drones, including other variants of drones are commonly utilized in places such as the cargo bays of ships, construction sites, spaceports, restaurants and even within households as AI maids.
Just an interesting side note: Restaurant tables within the Scentellian Federation are also specially designed, especially in wealthy properties like the Regal Grove in Koaloqo. Whenever a customer or customers is/are done with their meal, the surface of the table will automatically open a portal leading to a segregation compartment, where everything that had fallen in are segregated accordingly for either waste disposal or dish washing. Hence, the hassle of literally bringing general waste, used cutleries and utensils from the tables to the bins and cleaning machines at the back of the restaurant becomes eliminated. This saves a lot of time, effort and cost of drone maintenance.
